What sections does the edible oil filling production line consist of?

A complete edible oil filling production line is generally divided into three parts: upstream production, middle packaging and downstream end packaging.

Upstream production equipment mainly includes oil presses, bottle blow molding machines and so on (pre-packaging preparation processes). Here we mainly introduce the middle and downstream sections.

The middle packaging section has many types of equipment. Taking the production line of Yantai Feida Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. as an example, it mainly includes filling machines, light inspection stations, cap sorting & feeding units, capping machines, handle pressing machines, coding machines and labeling machines (packaging procedures in dust-free workshops).

1. Filling Machine To adapt to customers’ different bottles and barrels, filling machines are divided into small-pack and medium-pack models. By filling capacity: 5L and below is generally small packaging; 10L and above is medium packaging; standard drums of about 180kg are usually called large packaging. Matching filling equipment and solutions are available for products of different specifications. The light inspection station facilitates manual checking for impurities.
2. Cap Sorting & Feeding Machine It features automatic cap sorting and feeding functions to reduce labor intensity.
3. Capping Machine It realizes automatic capping through squeezing by upper and lower belts.
4. Automatic Handle Pressing Machine The gripper swing arm presses the handle into the barrel mouth. (This process can also be finished in the upstream section before filling.) Semi-automatic and fully automatic types are available.
5. Coding Machine It prints production dates and other marks on products. The common types are inkjet coders and laser coders.
6. Labeling Machine Classified by labeling quantity per barrel: single-side labeling machine and double-side labeling machine. Classified by label material: self-adhesive labeling machine, paste labeling machine and shrink sleeve labeling machine. Classified by working mode: linear labeling machine and rotary labeling machine.

Downstream end packaging equipment mainly includes case erectors, case packers, case sealers and palletizers.

Optional equipment can be selected according to customers’ specific requirements such as workshop floor, bottle/barrel type and filling range: bottle gripper conveyor, screw conveyor, vertical flap conveyor, vertical automatic case dropping machine, automatic screw capper, cap locking machine, capsule shrink tunnel, large character coder, heat shrink wrapping machine, checkweigher and other related equipment.
